Letter from Me, Eric Madrid, Founder of OURA.1

Imagine this in an epic movie voice:

“In a world, where Ai…”

That phrase can lead in a million directions; but one thing is for sure, it’s BIG. Whatever roles we think Ai will play in our future, we can all agree it will significantly change the world and the way we live in it. Many of us are either scrambling to learn how to use Ai or are actively working on mastering it. Simultaneously, others are keeping a safe distance as Ai does some pretty impressive, and quite honestly, mind-blowing things.

Here is some food for thought… What if it isn’t the Ai doing those incredible things? What if it is all actually our own doing?

See, that’s the thing. Ai needs us to use it, to prompt it. We are the ones that tell it what to do for us; the Ai does not do it on its own. Our word helps the Ai grow for us / with us while we figure out more and more impactful or impressive ways to use it.

If we really want to make the most of it, we could use it to develop ourselves. We could have it help us do the things we want to do, and sometimes need to do, in unique ways that work for us personally, as well as helping us work better with each other.

OURA.1 wasn’t always designed with Ai in mind. Originally, it was — like most social networks and platforms — user driven. A user driven platform with a sort of yin-yang dual profile system, with one profile for ‘problems’, and the other profile for the ‘problem solvers’.

You could probably imagine the network loops, if problem solvers and problems existed in an organized and self-sustaining, eco-system. A community built around the idea of working together to solve problems. Building people, careers, teams, and our future.

The only missing piece to make this system truly self-sustaining is “resources” and what that really means is money; in better terms, funding.

But if the platform can organize and align problem solvers to problems, couldn’t it also align supporters and funders to the problems they want to help solve, or the problem solvers they want to support?

It’s not the full answer, but let’s be honest, throwing money at the problem definitely helps.

If users ranked problem solvers and problems, and the system organized and aligned them, couldn’t we then prioritize our problems? We could align our efforts and resources, develop and decide on solutions, fund projects, and solve whatever problems we face, right? I’d say that’s a decent way to really empower people to take charge and take action on whatever they want.

This was the original idea, a platform designed to help people solve problems. Here’s the thing about a system being user driven however — it requires a lot of users before it can work well. It also requires a lot of development (at the time), and ultimately, not all users work the same way, much less think the same way.

How can we make sure the integrity and intention behind our mission stays true in the teams our platform is building and the connections it suggests to users when the merits that rank them, are also rated by them?

Ranking systems could be manipulated. Dominant personality types could end up monopolizing projects and egos and agendas could get in the way of progress, as is often the case in most larger teams or corporate structures.

At the very least, the success of the mission for a user driven platform like this could be measured in two ways: sheer scale or global impact.

A better system starts with each user, helping them align goals with their well-being. A system that develops its own growth by empowering users to grow before connecting them accordingly, automatically, using dynamic and hyper-personalized Ai systems designed to know you better, to help you be better. An Ai Personal assistant, life coach, mentor or trainer, whatever works best for you.

Tangibly, it’s about being productive toward your growth, and your goals. Having a clear understanding of the big picture — all things considered — yourself, your goals, and your relationships with others. OURA.1 helps you do exactly that. From the first word to the last ✔︎ on the “Completed” list. Just you and our Ai, Aime.

STEP 1 - Empower Individuals with Aime

Aime is your Ai Personal Assistant, designed to really understand you, so Aime can help you know who you really are, and what you really want, and then develop and manage a unique, actionable plan, designed exactly for you. All things considered.

Aime helps you organize your thoughts, define and create tasks, set and track your goals, and plan your schedule and calendar accordingly. Short or Long-term, Aime’s with you the entire way.

STEP 2 - Unite Individuals in Collaboration with Aius

Aius is the Ai Team Project Manager, designed to work with users’ Aimes to help individuals work together on common goals. Teams are built by connecting project goals, with users who can and want to achieve them. Recruitment is not based on skills and experience alone, but also personality dynamics and personal goals, for an effective and efficient team that is ready and willing. A holistic approach, aligning the most important aspects of a team and their goals.

STEP 3 - Fund Them

With a network full of empowered individuals and teams, eager and able to work effectively and efficiently on common goals, funding is obvious. Align support efforts through targeted crowdfunding.

Funders can be problem solvers too. The system essentially allows people to align their efforts, on any level, toward solving common goals.

STEP 4 - Support the Movement

OURA.1 isn’t just a platform, it’s a call to action. A movement to help people grow, work together, and get things done.

We’re building it because we believe in it, and we’re looking for those who believe in it too.

If this speaks to you, there is a place for you here.

How to Help:

If this resonates with you — share it. Talk about it. Tell someone. Point us toward the right people or places; every bit of momentum matters right now.

We’re actively building our founding team. That includes collaborators, aligned partners, and early investors who believe in what we’re building and want to be part of it from the start.

We’re not looking for anyone—we’re looking for the right ones. People who see the potential, feel the mission, and want to co-create the future with us.

If that might be you, or someone you know, reach out.

We’d love to hear from you.
